Silicone coated fiberglass belts are made by coating a woven fiberglass substrate with silicone rubber on one or both sides, offering dimensional stability, durability, excellent tensile strength and low elongation.
Silicone coated fiberglass belts can be custom made into continuous loop belts for use in the food and packaging industries. They can also be used in shrink tunnels and for cooking and grilling food products.
The surface friction of Silicone-Coated Fiberglass Fabric Belts surpasses that of a fabric belt coated with PTFE, while still maintaining comparable release characteristics. Notably, certain products that might stick to PTFE-coated fabrics may not adhere to surfaces coated with silicone. These belts are ideal for applications where an excellent combination of surface grip and release is required.
To improve tracking precision and extend the lifespan of the belt, Saree belting provides several edging styles, including heat-sealed and sewn, sewn with PTFE-coated fabric reinforcement, sewn only, heat-sealed with PTFE film edging, and silicone edging.
